The Production Worker provides essential support within each manufacturing cell and will be trained to perform a variety of job responsibilities throughout the plant.

Qualifications:

  • A strong attention to detail
  • The ability to follow written procedures
  • The ability to conform to all established safety practices
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift availability preferred
  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities include:

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures
  • Must be willing to work any shift

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating CNC machinery
  • Performing adjustments to meet part specifications
  • Monitoring finished product for adherence to specifications
  • Monitoring machine to ensure it is not malfunctioning

The Manufacturing Engineer supports manufacturing projects by providing and maintaining methods, equipment, tooling, and standards to internal and external specifications. This position supports manufacturing projects by providing technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility, and will be responsible to setup, operate and trial new methods of manufacturing to reduce cycle times, improve lead times, and solve implementation problems.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing support to obtain safe, efficient, productive, and economical manufacturing operations.
  • Developing and maintaining routings, tool lists, fixtures, process instructions, and process requirements, for manufacturing equipment and operations.
  • Developing work instructions and standard work to document processes and flow.
  • Driving out waste from manufacturing operations through the deployment of lean and CBS methodology.
  • Addressing production andon stoppages and develops counter measures using 5 why methodology.
  • Training operators on proper, efficient manufacturing methods and procedures, to maximize machine and process productivity.
  • Coordinating the purchase of necessary production materials and tooling.
  • Implementing changes to tools and fixtures.
  • Supporting new process and product development implementation.
  • Assisting with developing and implementing current and future state value stream maps and continuous improvement plans.
  • Auditing and improving existing manufacturing processes.
  • Solving daily manufacturing process problems.
  • Trying out experimental commercial tooling.
  • Simplifying the methods/tooling and therefore reduces cycle times and W.I.P.
  • Improving area equipment layouts and material flow.
  • Assisting operators with daily assembly problems with equipment, methods, and tooling.
  • Assisting in justifying and coordinating the installation of capital equipment.
  • Participating actively in the Continuous Improvement and Quality processes including project team involvement, problem solving, and recommending solutions to enhance and improve the quality of departmental and/or company-wide business activities.

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading innovation, engineering, and design initiatives within the fast-growing cryogenic market as part of Technifab’s strategy to grow in Energy Transition space. The candidate will manage a local engineering team to successfully support existing products within the cryogenic portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Line Managers, Sourcing, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to manage projects effectively while mitigating risks to timely and thorough completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying the appropriate project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to deliver results at optimal costs that deliver a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The position will also act as the lead and owns all aspects of a project such as specifications clarification, maximizing value proposition for the customers, establishing schedules, securing resources, and driving accountability to meaningful execution. Additionally, the Engineering Manager will be responsible for implementing continuous improvements on an ongoing basis. The position will report to the Site Leader, and be located in Brazil, IN.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence the organization and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Good material science knowledge, e.g. in steels, castings, plastics, elastomers and proven expertise in the application of such knowledge.
  • Knowledge of modern design and development software packages, e.g. 3D design packages, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
  • Knowledge and experience of lean methodologies including (but not limited to) Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), 5S, Problem Solving, and Visual Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and engineering tools.
  • Cryogenic industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity of industry standards and specifications, such as ASME Section VIII and ASME B31.3 desired.
  • Aptitude for creativity and innovation.
  • Robustness of design and industrialization.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, across all functions of the organization including customers and suppliers.
  • Strong presence, communication, and interpersonal skills and an ability to motivate and manage at all levels.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate technical reports, production documents, forecasts, and estimates.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overall management, direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Engineering Department, encompassing Design & Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, IP, and the Development & Test Laboratory. Responsibilities include safety, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; intellectual capital reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Interface with Global Business Line Managers, Applications Specialists, Field Sales, sales channels, and customers to determine technical needs to meet market requirements.
  • Product validation, documentation, and successful execution.
  • Drive sustainable profitable growth by managing a team of direct and indirect reports in Engineering.
  • Manage Value Engineering of current product range to support the strategy for the product range.
  • Design Control – maintain and manage product designs and specifications.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by supervisor
