Technifab Releases New Series of ASME Valves

Technifab's new line of ASME valves are now available to meet customer needs.

Technifab Products, Incorporated, a manufacturer of cryogenic transfer equipment, is now making a line of cryogenic valves that comply with ASME B16.34 for customers needing their cryogenic system to meet the ANSI/ASME B31.3 piping code.

ASME B16.34-2004 is a standard that has more strenuous design, manufacturing, & testing requirements than are typically used to produce standard cryogenic valves. For example, an ASME B16.34-2004 valve needs to have a stem retention design that prevents stem removal if the stem seal nut is removed while pressurized. Additional requirements include detailed requirements and procedures for items such as valve ratings, materials, and testing.
