Techflex hoses are designed and manufactured for long-term, maintenance-free use for the transfer of liquid nitrogen, liquid helium and other cryogens.

Utilizing similar construction to our Techniguard line of vacuum jacketed pipe, our transfer hoses offer a high performance transfer line solution. Independent laboratory tests of vacuum insulated hoses show our standard, off-the-shelf Techflex hoses offer a higher thermal efficiency than those of competitors. This translates into real dollar savings in reduced use of cryogen over time and a longer useful service life.

Techflex hoses incorporate a vacuum chamber that is super-insulated with alternate layers of aluminum foil and spacer material.

• A special chemical gettering added to the vacuum chamber extends the service life of the hose.
• The outer covering of the Techflex is made of interlocking stainless steel making it light weight and exceptionally flexible.
• Every Techflex hose is flow-tested and leak-tested using a helium mass spectrometer calibrated to 1 x 10^-9 std. cc/sec, as well as equipped with a tamperproof evacuation valve to ensure superior quality and safety.
  
  Standard hoses (kept in stock) are designed for liquid nitrogen and argon use, but options for other cryogenic liquids, such as oxygen and helium, are available. We can also design and manufacture to meet your specific requirements, including fittings, bayonets, and valves.

Standard Dimensions For Liquid Nitrogen or Liquid Argon Transfer hoses:

Techflex hoses are available in lengths up to 60 feet (18 meters). Lengths from 4 feet (1.2 meters) to 12 feet (3.7 meters) are kept in stock for immediate delivery. End fitting options include CGA, JIC, MPT, FPT and compression fittings.
