Lab Dewars
Technifab TLN Series liquid nitrogen dewars are designed to safely and conveniently transport and store small volumes of liquid nitrogen in your laboratory or workplace. These laboratory dewars combine advanced vacuum design and multiple layers of super-insulation technology to achieve superior thermal performance. Rugged construction ensures low heat transfer even under heavy use. Each dewar is performance tested prior to shipment and fully warranted with serial number tracking documentation.
Cryobiological Dewars
Technifab also offers a dewar designed for dependable, cost-efficient storage of biological samples at cryogenic temperatures. The Technifab TCS-90-8 liquid nitrogen dewar has been designed for extended hold capability, safety and convenience. This specially designed package includes the dewar, a lockable lid and a rack system that can hold up to 1800 2ml ampules.
Our TCS-90-8 cryobiological dewar benefits include:

Our laboratory dewars are used in any application where liquid nitrogen needs to be stored or transported. From laboratories, medical and pharmaceutical facilities to manufacturing plants and quality control labs. Biological dewars are typically used to store biological samples at sub-zero temperatures for preservation and storage.
Technifab’s lab dewars are designed and manufactured in our Brazil, Indiana facility using either aluminum or stainless steel. They are TIG or MIG welded on automatic welding units or manually by one of our skilled welders. Every weld is inspected for aesthetic consistency and tested using helium mass spectrometer leak detection to as low as 2 x 10-10 cc/sec sensitivity with no leaks.
Technifab has special equipment to install multi-layered insulation (MLI) mechanically, and the trained personnel to hand-wrap or blanket-wrap insulation to ensure the lowest possible boil-off.
Our Cryobiological dewars are made with a wider mouth neck to allow the sample
racks to be lowered into the dewar.
